Oklahoma does not have a specific list of qualifying conditions for patients to qualify for medical mj.

Instead, it’s up to the professional judgment of the doctor when recommending patients for medical mj.

This means that any patient with a medical condition can apply to get a medical mj card in Oklahoma, without being limited to a list of qualifying conditions. Patients still need a medical mj recommendation from a board-certified physician in Oklahoma.

To get a recommendation, you can talk to a specialized mj doctor about your health problems and how you think medical mj can help. The doctor will ask you questions to get an understanding of how severe your symptoms are if the condition is chronic, and what other treatments you’ve tried. Medical MJ is typically recommended when standard treatment methods have failed.
