How much does a medical card cost?
We charge $149 for the doctor’s consultation and the certification you need to register for the medical card.
There is an additional $38.50 application fee paid to the State of Hawaii.
What payment options are accepted?
We accept credit card and debit card payments.
Currently, we are unable to accept the following payment methods: Flexible spending accounts (FSA), health savings accounts (HSA), health reimbursement arrangements (HRA), limited-purpose flexible spending accounts (LPFSA), or dependent care flexible spending accounts (DCFSA).
How long is my medical card valid for?
Your medical card will be valid for one or two years from the date you’ve been certified.
My card is about to expire. How do I renew it?
You can renew your medical marijuana card as early as 60 days before it expires. You can book a follow-up appointment with our doctor to get re-certified.
When you receive your new certification you can begin the renewal process for your medical card through the medical marijuana program.
How long will it take to get my medical card?
It takes 2-4 weeks to get your Hawaii 329 cannabis card after you submit your application.
Can I use my medical card at any dispensary?
Yes. Remember to present your medical card and government-issued ID when visiting any dispensary.
How does the online video evaluation for medical marijuana work?
The online video consultation is only available to renewing patients. First-time, applicants must attend an in-person marijuana evaluation.
After you’ve signed up and booked your appointment, you will receive an email confirmation from us. Next, on the day of your appointment, we will send you an email and text with a link to your video-call consultation with our physician prior to your appointment time. Click the link and have your evaluation over the secure video call. You will receive your cannabis certification soon after the doctor approves you for medical marijuana.
What if I miss my appointment or need to reschedule?
You can reach out to our customer support to reschedule your appointment. You won’t be charged a no-show fee if you miss your first consultation. However, a $45 no-show fee applies if you miss the rescheduled appointment.
Am I eligible for a medical card in Hawaii?
Both residents of Hawaii and visiting patients can qualify for the Hawaii 329 card.
As a resident of Hawaii, you must have one of the qualifying conditions below.

- Cancer
- Epilepsy
- Glaucoma
- HIV / AIDS
- Lupus
- Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PSTD)
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- You may also be eligible for the 329 card if your illness or its treatment produces one or more of the following:
- Cachexia or wasting syndrome
- Seizures, including those distinctive of epilepsy
- Severe and persistent muscle spasms, including those typical of multiple sclerosis or Crohn’s disease
- Severe nausea
- Severe pain
Out-of-state patients with state-issued medical marijuana cards may also be eligible for the Hawaii medical card. Importantly, they must be certified in their home state with one of the qualifying conditions highlighted above.
